  8.     Thanks again for downloading "A MacHead's™ LARGE Bookmarks".

  10.   I've raised the shareware fee to $10 and it's worth TWICE 
  11.     that amout. I began thinking maybe twice a year updating, and it's turned 
  12.     into a lot more work than that. All the NEW Apple sites are in here plus all 
  13.     of C/Nets, MacWorld's, and much, much more.  A new folder "MacHead 
  14.     Homepages" pays tribute to MacHead's™ who wish to have their personal 
  15.     pages passed out to thousands.

  17.   The MacHead bookmarks are now seperated from a "short" list of all around set of folders. The MacHead bookmarks are now in a folder marked "Only SERIOUS MacHead's should open!"

  20.     For those of you PAID individuals of A MacHead's™ Bookmarks please bear 
  21. with me, and of course this download is free to YOU. To the FIRST-TIMERS  
  22. AND THE 6,800 WHO DOWNLOADED BEFORE AND DIDN'T PAY THE 
  23. SHAREWARE FEE , please  understand THIS. It's your right NOT TO PAY. 
  24. But I have been recently  disabled due to a rare spinal cord disease 
  25. SYRINGOMYELIA  (sah-ringo-my-e-lee-ah)and after 10 operations on my 
  26. spine I am left disabled and paralyzed from the neck down with the exception 
  27. that I have  about 25% use of my right arm left. 
  28.  
  29. This continues as a progressive disease but has now  stablized for the past 2 years so you can imagine how busy the first 3 years were after being diagnosed.

  31. It's not easy to do this you understand. Putting myself in this  hand-out 
  32. position is alien to me. However that is why I've chosen this SHAREWARE 
  33. route, to make me feel better for what I'm about to ask.
  34.  
  35.     I need not tell you how devastating this is to me and my family.
  36. However, I have taken up the Mac and in the last several years have self
  37. taught myself and with the donations of people like APPLE, and Mac users
  38. in general, and  have come to the point where I CAN and WILL make a living 
  39. to HELP support MY family.
  40.  
  41.     These SHAREWARE bookmarks have been the beginning  of gathering
  42. funds to be applied to needed software and hardware to help me become a
  43. Webmaster whiz through HTML and also in programming. I also don't need
  44. to tell you how expensive of a process this is.
  45.  
  46.     However, the success of the ORIGINAL "A MacHead's™ Bookmarks v1.0"
  47. (some 4,000 downloads in the first 9 days on MacWorld's Mac Download
  48. site alone) has shown me that Mac people are the GREATEST people in the
  49. world.

  51.     But PLEASE, consider paying the SHAREWARE fee this time or, pay at
  52. least what you feel it's worth or can afford. And of course it's still FREE to the handicapped who email me and tell me.

  55. and kind words, thoughts, and prayers have been and will always be the
  56. driving force behind my dream.
